Pablo Baptista Rodrigues holds a bachelor’s degree in Portuguese Language and Literatures (magna cum laude) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, 2011-2015). He subsequently completed his master’s degree in Literary Theory at UFRJ (2016-2018), defending the thesis “Franz Kafka: Metamorphoses of Freedom and Submission.” Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. (since 2019) in the Postgraduate Program in Letters (Literary Sciences) at UFRJ with funding from a CAPES scholarship and is affiliated with the “Literature, Culture, and Society” research track. His doctoral project, under the supervision of Professor Ricardo Pinto de Souza, Ph.D., examines the construction of Blackness in Franz Kafka’s works. Since 2022, he has served as a Portuguese Language and Literatures teacher in the Espírito Santo state school system. His academic expertise encompasses Literary Theory, History and Design of the Book, and Education in Portuguese Language and Literature.
